In a dominant performance, the Dallas Mavericks cruised to a 146-111 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday afternoon in Dallas. Despite the Thunder entering the game undefeated in the 2024 NBA playoffs, the Mavericks took command from the outset and never looked back.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 29 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, but it was not enough to overcome the Mavericks' offensive onslaught. Luka Doncic paced the Mavericks with 35 points, followed by Spencer Dinwiddie with 26 and Tim Hardaway Jr. with 23.
The Mavericks shot 56.7% from the field, including 14-of-33 from three-point range, while the Thunder shot just 41.7% and made only 8-of-31 from beyond the arc. Dallas also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding Oklahoma City 50-31.
The victory gives the Mavericks a commanding 3-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals. Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night in Dallas.
