Bruins Name Swayman as Starting Goalie for Game 6

The Boston Bruins have announced that Jeremy Swayman will start in goal for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Swayman, 23, has a 14-10-2 record with a 2.37 GAA and a .920 save percentage in 26 games (25 starts) this season. He has also started three games in the playoffs, going 2-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .945 save percentage.
Swayman will be making his first start in the playoffs since Game 3 of the first round against the Washington Capitals. He made 33 saves in that game, but the Bruins lost 3-2 in overtime.
The Bruins are currently trailing the Hurricanes 3-2 in the series. Game 6 will be played at TD Garden on Friday night.
